Our studio, A Hi-Tech Photography, was founded by chief photographer Albert C.M. Wong in 1986. Through his dedicated efforts and consistent enthusiasm, Albert successfully piloted the business through several situations of economic turmoil. Consequently, the success of the studio lies mainly within Albert's increasing knowledge, unparalleled devotion and the integrity he upholds in order to efficiently and successfully service his clients' needs. In 1996, Albert achieved his first professional title as Craftsman of Photographic Arts (CPA) with the Professional Photographers of Canada, Inc. (PPOC). Later in 2001, he was awarded the advanced title as Master of Photographic Arts (MPA) in the PPOC 2001 National Convention. During the successive years of 2000 and 2001, Albert's wedding portraits were awarded the outstanding achievement trophies by Fuji film Canada in their annual competition, open to all professional photographers, the Pro-Challenge. Once again, his work grasped an even higher honour in the 2002 competition – this time a Merit Award that is just second to the grand prize. Good work does not stop here. In the 2003 Alberta Professional Photographer Association’s annual convention, one of Albert’s wedding portraits was selected by judges to receive the Masterpiece Award sponsored by Fuji Film Canada. All achievements and awards demonstrate a solid foundation in photography as well as a never-ending motivation in order to better satisfy his clients. To maintain the finest quality, A Hi-Tech Photography processes and prints all work in our in-house lab. In addition, we work directly with our clients as well as the designers and creators in every frame. Through the artistic and innovative eyes of our photographers and designers, we are certain that we will be able to successfully envision, create and present the finished product well beyond the satisfaction of the client. Every procedure in our production is used to enhance and refine our images to the best possible quality.
